Weather Vane Ice Creme - Granite City

My BFF and I stopped here for a quick bite. The hamburgers were juicy and cooked perfectly and the bun was super soft. We had cheese fries too that were hot and the cheese was cheesy not the nacho kind. Big score in my opinion! My BFF had ice cream and she said that it “Hit the spot”. I had a grape slushy that was mixed perfectly. Both ladies were very nice and accommodating! We will be back and we are from St Louis so we will make the trek! Thanks so much!

Most of the food is good, most of the time. I personally don't care for the yellow ice cream here, though. They have decent burgers, very good bacon and fries, and the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and tacos are okay. Food is very reasonably priced with regular specials.

Their chicken bacon wrap is so good! I had a turtle concrete and it wasn't bad but I thought it was pretty pricey. Their parking lot is full of potholes, and in need of serious repair. They have a drive thru window to place your order, but there's no menu or speaker before you get to the window. I recommend looking up their menu online to know what you want beforehand. Otherwise, you'll have a staff member standing at the window waiting while you're trying to read the menu stuck to the window to decide what you want. Don't get me wrong, the lady working the window was really friendly and did not rush me to order in any way. But, when someone is hanging out the drive thru window staring at you from 3 feet or so away, I felt like I had to order as quickly as possible. Im weird though and anxiety ridden. Normal people would probably never think twice about the situation. While I sat in the parking lot waiting for the nice lady to bring my chicken wrap out, I could see that she was wearing gloves. Overall, I would return again.

My kids love their cotton flavor burst ice cream. I love their caramel sundae I really love their gooey butter cake concrete.

Great ice cream. Met there with a group of friends and service was good even though it was a large order. Picnic table was not available since there had been some recent work to the parking lot.
