Eli Kathy's Family - Grandview

The best Mom and Pop shop in town. I'd love to give it 5 stars, but the prices make it hard to at the moment. Yes, it has been an affordable fast food joint in the past, but for some reason the prices have gone up dramatically in the more recent few years, and it started to do so even before COVID. If it was just a COVID thing, sure, I could understand. I mean there was a time their gourmet burgers with fries and a drink were comparable with McDonald's or Carl's Jr. Now, those franchises are more affordable.If I had to go with cost v. value at the moment, I'd probably go with Carl's Jr. I'd love this trend to change, though, for I've had some of my best memories, and meals at Eli and Kathy's.

I had lunch there with some co-workers . The place was really clean, the service was good, and the food was hot.

Ordered a Gizzard basket with chocolate shake two fry sauces. I paid over 14 dollars. I asked for the fries/gizzards to be bagged separately (my nephew doesn’t like food touching his fries) I got them together the fry sauce I was given had a jelly consistency. No biggie. I went back, gave them the food asked for just fries. I was given the smallest order of fries. I basically paid 14 dollars for a small order of fries two tubs of fry sauce that still look expired. Place definitely went down hill. Should have asked for a receipt a full refund.

We thought it was going to be a diner. It was more of a drive-through like Arctic Circle. The food was pretty good, though. The customer service was fast and friendly.

Our favorite lunch spot. great people. great eating. when my children come home, they want to eat.
