Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Grand Rapids

The smoothies here are fantastic! However, I suggest improving the signage for the drive-thru. It can be quite difficult to locate the entrance since there isn't any signage to guide you.

Exercise caution when choosing this restaurant! If I could give it a zero-star rating, I would. The behavior of the staff and the owner is very questionable. During my second-to-last visit, I didn’t receive a smoothie, so I submitted a request for a refund through their online feedback system. I mentioned how pleasant the girl at the food line was but pointed out that a young man on the smoothie line, whom other employees referred to as Ricky, had missed my order. On my next visit, Ricky was there again, and my food had clearly been compromised. My Kaleslaw was only half full and had a hair in it, and there was paper in my flatbread. The owner refused to acknowledge her employees’ actions, showed no interest in reviewing the security footage, and refused to refund the inedible food. Proceed with extreme caution! Who knows what lengths these kids might go to, especially when they know that management won't intervene.

Today, I was really hungry and craving turkey bacon in a wrap instead of bread. The amazing staff took my request and made it incredibly delicious! It definitely deserves a spot on the menu!

I really like their smoothies.The food just pretty ok.Why do they use Styrofoam cups? Not recyclable.

This is and will always be one of my favorites. EVERY TIME- Chipotle chicken flat bread with a Bahama mama..... ??? Great service, great food.
