First Wok. - Grand Rapids

We have been visiting First Wok ever since they first opened their 1st restaurant. Their food is always good. We specifically requested a table for 8 in Mandy's section. She always takes good care of us. Today we were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Mandy made it special.

First Wok has always been our favorite! We ordered family dinner for 4 for take out...our Christmas dinner. The 3 hot and sour soups were not tasty....salty and no vinegar flavor. The Mongolian beef had little beef in it, more onions. The General Tsao's was waaay too hot, spicy. Huge chunks of deep-fried meat. I hope this isn't a permanent new chef. 2 out of 4 dinners were a miss. We were not impressed. Very disappointed after coming to First Wok for 25+ years.

This place is a great oriental restaurant that gives great quality foods at a reasonable price. I tried the curry chicken and found it to be awesome. The beef and broccoli is really good too. The staff are always awesome in their service and communicating. Love the smiles they bring.

Great food and very nice people. My favorite Chinese restaurant. I wish there was one in Holland.

The food tastes great, the service is always good but their prices have gotten so ridiculously expensive!
