Ato Sushi - Grand Rapids

Adorable restaurant with authentic Asian dishes. I had Teriyaki Salmon Bento Box and the part included Elan soup, steamed rice, salad, veggie and shrimp Tempoura, 4 pieces roll, and the salmon themselves. Yum yum!

Stopped in on an incredibly busy Saturday evening for dinner solo, wasn’t sure what to expect as the place is very small but definitely worth it! I ordered a good deal of different types of sushi rolls and wasn’t worried about what I was spending as I wanted a variety. They had some interesting spins on some rolls I’d never had before, and I loved them! I had an appetizer that I wasn’t crazy about, but I think I was more in the mood for sushi at that point anyways. Service was good, very crowded because of the size but I was in and out in a relatively quick amount of time with great food and good service.

Prompt service, followed safety guidelines accordingly, very clean. Food was delightful, takoyaki was absolutely delicious and sushi was perfectly crafted. Their card machine seemed to have a problem with the chip on my PayPal card but besides that the experience was lovely.

Decent sushi. Spicy levels are pretty Midwestern level so don't be afraid to try it even if it's in red. Outdoor seating is nice to have but can be loud since it's off a busy street.

Good sushi with many options. Food is prepared quickly. A small dining room with 8 tables inside and some outdoor seating during the few months when that is comfortable. Reasonably priced for a meal right downtown.
