After requesting to speak with the manager, the waiter came back with a 20% discount on her meal and stated he had talked to the manager. We again requested to speak with the manager. Abartender, not the manager came.(the waiter had not talked to the manager as the manager was not even at the restaurant) Mysisters blouse was tea stained, probably ruined, and they wanted to give a 20% discount on one meal! We told the waitress fromthe bar what happened and requested they make it right to her. They finally comped her meal and should have offered to pay forcleaning he clothes, but didn't. We have been frequent customers in the past, but will NEVER return.
Gus our waiter was amazing. So friendly and polite. 1st time eating here and it was amazing. You can see all the staff cared about their guests and job. Got amazing service from walking in the door to leaving. The cook(s) know how to cook. Food wasamazing and done perfectly. Can't wait to go back
We decided to eat at Carlos O?Kelly?s because we have not been there for several months. The food is not like as it has been in the past, in fact, it is down right disgusting. None of us finished our meals. My entree was not as described, as my chimichangawas dry and tasteless. My husband ordered the seafood enchiladas and I?m sure the seafood was on the verge of spoiling. When hecut into them, the smell was EXTREMELY fishy. The enchiladas also tasted rancid and were cold throughout. We complained to themanager and her only response was that she was sorry. We are sorry too because we will NEVER dine at Carlos O?Kelly?s again. There are many other great dining choices in Grand Island that you do not leave feeling ill.
The food is very delicious. Chips and salsa while you wait for your order. The orders are delivered to the table in a timely manner. It?s very clean and the restrooms are clean. I love their food
We decided to dine at Carlos O'Kelly's because it had been a while since our last visit. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations this time. It was quite disappointing, to say the least. None of us were able to finish our meals. My duck dish did not match the description, as my chimichanga was dry and bland. My husband ordered the seafood enchiladas, and it seemed like the seafood might have been spoiled. The smell was extremely fishy when he cut into it, and the enchiladas tasted rancid and were served cold. When we brought up our concerns to the manager, her response was simply an apology. We were left feeling quite disappointed, and we will not be returning to Carlos O'Kelly's again. There are plenty of other fantastic restaurant options in Grand Island where you can enjoy a meal without feeling ill.
