Theatre Cafe - Grahamstown

The couches were comfy, the normally busy space was quiet, 7.45 am coffee was great! Normally the space is buzzing with undergraduates and lecturers from all over, especially the drama school and business school which are housed in this building. We arrived while the staff were still setting up for the day, and the espresso machine was still warming up. They welcomed us, and took our orders with a friendly smile. After serving us, we were left alone to have our conversation.

Great food. aesthetically pleasing place.i love their coffee milkshake. i just wish their wraps/salads had more chicken and more sauce. otherwise great service and fantastic place

Theatre Cafe is a wonderful space to relax and have lunch at Universtiy. The staff is friendly and effective and there's always a variety of freshly made food on the menu, including amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes, yummy home made muffins and brownies and freshly brewed coffee. The space offers a variety of tables inside and outside and the sofas are just perfect for chat or work meetings.

The lady who served me was kind and happy. The food itself was quite good. A place worth stopping

The aesthetic is wonderful, the staff are super friendly and the menu is perfectly balanced between classy and cost effective.
