The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Our server was prompt and friendly. At the end, when we went to settle our bill, he even gave us a brief but informative lesson on how various barrels can affect the flavor of gin. I was truly impressed! It was such a fun way to cap off the evening. I highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is very attentive. The fish steak is delicious, while the lamb is quite good but not particularly standout. I would definitely dine here again.

For our appetizer, we ordered the charcoal-coated prawns and chorizo, which were absolutely delicious. The accompanying sauce was amazing—I could’ve eaten more! We also had the chicken liver pâté, and as a pâté lover, I found it to be creamy and smooth, just like mousse, and I really enjoyed it. The main courses were great as well, although I thought the lamb portion could have been a bit larger. However, it would have been helpful if the staff had informed us in advance about the Latin dance event happening that night. We were enjoying a lovely romantic dinner when suddenly, large groups of couples arrived, loud Latin music started playing, and the dance floor was cleared of tables for a dance-off. This unexpected change really shifted the mood of our evening, and I was quite disappointed. We decided not to stay much longer and left before we could fully enjoy our night.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Servings were generous, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The owner/manager was so obviously passionate about what he was doing it was reflected in the friendly service and attention we received from all staff. While not a cheap and cheerful restaurant we felt the menu represented good value for money. The venue was tastefully done and comfortable. We would highly recommend you go.
