Brooklyn Bagels - Governors Bay

Had absolutely no idea Franklin NC had a bagel shop. We were driving down US 441 Business on our way to lunch, when we saw their signs and immediately pulled over. We hadn't had a fresh bagel in sooo long and we were NOT disappointed. We bought one of every kind they had in the display case and sampled so many that we almost ruined our lunch plans. Then we ate more after lunch as a dessert. Oh man, these are so good. Can't wait to get back. You will not be sorry. Plenty of on and off-street parking. Delightful counter help. Good covid protection for customers. Great prices. Fabulous bagels. What's not to love ?

Good variety of delicious bagels and cream cheese. Coffee was decent. I love their location. Handicap accessible. Plenty of parking, including handicap parking.

The BEST bagels anywhere! Perfect balance of a crispy outside and soft, fresh inside. The cream cheese has amazing flavor. Always friendly, smiling faces when you walk in.

We stopped in for 2 quick bagels and coffee to help us fuel up before our trip home. My husband is from NY and enjoyed an authentic bagel. Great!
