The Glen House - Gorham

A beautiful place to stay in the White Mountains! The location is only a few minutes' drive away for large hiking trails. We had a standard room that had a nice view of the Glen Trails was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The linens were so soft! You leave a basket of cookies in the evening and have a coffee machine all day (with big coffee!) We will stay here!

The hotel is just beautiful from the lobby to the rooms to the gorgeous scenery out every window. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delicious. The outdoors firepit and seating area facing nature was such a nice bonus. Everything is sparkling clean and new and plenty of cozy lobby areas to relax or get together with other travelers. Loved that they had coffee and tea station (with yummy cookies) throughout the day. Little things that make a big difference. Rooms were lovely, comfortable and bathroom was huge and nicely done. Just love this place and plan to return in the spring.

The Hotel is a family owned business and it showed, we booked it over the phone 1/2 hour before arrival. When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly front desk clerks Ashley and Yvette. We stayed 3 days and these 2 young ladies are nothing short of amazing, as was Alyssa. They were very knowledgeable of not only the hotel but also of the area, including restaurants and hiking trails. The trio are full of personality and catered to our every whim. The room was extremely clean and had a tremendous view of Mt. Washington. The bar and patio with its outside firepit, comfortable seating and gorgeous views of the mountains are incredible. We ate at the hotel restaurant several times. The food was very good and our waitress Tina was terrific. The hostesses in both the am and pm were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel has very nice walking/biking trails that border its property.

Amazing property and so well located with amazing views! The restaurant food and bar were excellent so was the room cleanliness and in general staff. The only suggestion would be to have some courteous people in the front desk. We were greeted by a rude person who actually said ?well you will get what you paid for? only when asked for a room with a view if possible!

Beautiful hotel! I owe so many thanks for the help of Tom taking video of my fiancé proposing on the back patio overlooking the mountains! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the different trails and activities in the area. The room was modern, quiet during the night, and extremely clean. The Notch Grille located inside the hotel offered delicious food for breakfast and dinner. There was also a station with water and snacks during the day which was appreciated after taking a long hike. The bar area was a nice hangout while winding down for the evening. I would highly recommend The Glen House and can?t wait to visit again soon!
