Lao Wang - Goleta

The soup is amazing on chilly nights! I visited with some friends for soup and buns, and it was delicious. It was slightly salty but packed with flavor. The cashiers were very friendly and got cups and to-go containers for me. Yum!!

I ordered the small sweet and sour chicken rice bowl, and it was amazing! I recommend adding chili oil, Sriracha, and spicy mayo to the rice for an extra kick. Plus, I really liked the punching bag inside the restaurant!

I absolutely love Lao Wang! I frequently visit this place to enjoy beers with my friends, and they always give me extra foam from my pitcher on the side. Josh is the best!

Lao wang’s is one of the finest establishments i have ever been to. isla vista is so lucky to have Lao Wang’s. josh is one of the nicest and most supportive people i’ve ever met. i feel so fortunate to have great food and an incredible environment here. i love Lao Wang’s !!!
