Home Plate Grill - Goleta

I really wanted to like this place but I was bummed out about my order. My husband and I got the Home Plate pizza which sounded amazing. We were expecting it to be packed with tri til and sausage but when we got home and opened the pizza box we were so disappointed. There was literally one piece of tri tip and maybe two pieces of sausage on each slice. There was so much cheese on it and a ridiculous amount of sauce it just made everything kind of soggy. We had to put our slices in our air fryer to crisp it up so we could actually eat it. Most likely won't go back for pizza but maybe we'll try for something else...maybe.

Home Plate is definitely the place to go in Goleta! In the almost 4 years that I have been eating here, my expectations have always been surpassed with regard to the food. The Chili Verde Rancheros Wrap is something you shouldn't skip on for breakfast!

We went to this adorable little restaurant for dinner and were impressed by the variety of options on the menu. I ordered the tri tip salad with cilantro lime dressing and it was delicious and generously portioned. We will definitely have to come back before we leave for Arizona!

As a tourist, I found this restaurant through a Google search with positive reviews. My family and I were very pleased with our experience here. Every dish we ordered was excellent. I believe this restaurant is a hidden gem for American cuisine. If I lived nearby, it would definitely become my favorite spot.

Tasty burgers and fries! Good value for the money. Great baseball photos on the walls, too. Kind of a hidden gem in a residential neighborhood.
