Staying close by we frequented Cafe D’bar for a coffee on our walks but stayed for breakfast one morning and weren’t disappointed. We both ordered the açai bowls and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity for the price! For a very reasonable $16 you get a thick açai bowl topped with delicious fruits, granola and grains. The only thing I would say that is missing is peanut butter, but that’s completely personal choice. There is also a really cute homewares clothing shop directly beside the cafe which is a must visit !
Had a very late lunch here on New Year’s Day. Sat inside yet outside at one of the long tables under the greenery on a hot day enjoying the cool breeze. Super relaxing atmosphere. Excellent attentive and efficient service. Food has healthy or naughty options but even the naughty has a freshness to it that makes it feel lighter. Overall really great experience in a beautiful location.
I had a great meal with family at Cafe D’bar over the weekend. Staff were friendly, the atmosphere and view great and not to mention the food was delicious. I ordered the avocado Mexican salsa and a Summer Dayz juice, the salsa was very fresh and filling, as the juice. I would order both again! My boyfriend ordered the fish of the day (snapper) and and loved the meal. The only thing to not is that the cafe can be quite squeezy, so wheelchair access would require staff assistance.
BEST OCEAN VIEW!!! Perhaps slightly overpriced but great food nonetheless. I got the eggs benny while my boyfriend got the full breakfast special. This place is usually packed and very busy so it may be difficult to grab a waiter’s attention. Yet the view, fresh breeze and atmosphere makes up for when service becomes a little slow!
Beautiful spot on top of the hill. Super cute, open and airy feel to the cafe. The food was delicious and I can see why the place is so busy on the weekend. Salmon gravalax was yum as was the pork belly pesto egg special and the bircher muesli. Nice stuff in the gallery next door too. Would recommend!
