Tavern On The Edge - Gloucester City

Tavern on the edge is a large interior. I'm still a little bit sharp last night, so I'm inclined to make this review. Typically, you can see that I crush craft brews here because there is always a large selection. Last night was another experience. When I looked in places to throw my class meeting, I stopped when I found Tavern. For a very reasonable fee you can order the best Mexican food in Gloucester City and Hammer Bud Light, Margaritas and Sangria for a few hours. That was perfect. We had a great choice and the staff was on their game. Everyone was knowledgeable, fun and quick to respond to our needs. Throw a big event here, you will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a neighborhood tavern, to drink, eat and be merry... TAVERN ON THE EDGE in Gloucester City. You can enjoy yourself without needing a loan from a bank, average prices for a pint are $3-$6, with 24 taps, I am sure you can find something to your liking. The food was not your normal bar fare... Bar food yes, but elevated to satisfy your palate. To say I was surprised, is an understatement. And when you learn that this cozy little Irish Pub, was over 6 years in the making, you are shocked. The building was completely torn down, and built from the ground up is quite impressive. This is a new joint, where you want everyone to know your name.

Can't complain at all. Nothing blew me away, but service was great. Aftershock band was playing, and they were amazing.deff should bring them back!

I love this bar. I just wish I could change, would be more elbow room to walk around. I don't blame them for it, but you can't walk around people between the bar and the tables. Otherwise, the atmosphere, people, drinks, food and music are always great when we are there. Of all the bars in our neighborhood this is probably one of my favorites even with the very small place in most of the bar. And it's always nice and clean.
