CO. Ranch House - Glenwood Springs

We sat on the patio and enjoyed GREAT service by Brian, our waiter. Then the food came out. Wow!!! We had the elk quesadilla for an appetizer, then the dinner special was a bone in ribeye prepared Oscar style. There was almost as much crab as steak. Sides were homemade mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert we had the apple crumble pie with vanilla ice cream and bourbon pecan pie. We highly recommend this place and ask for Brian. He was awesome.

Its a cool place, great bar. Food left a lot to be desired. We ordered the porterhouse, with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes, and the smoked trout appetizer. Trout didn’t have much smoke flavor and was overcooked and very tough. The steak was very thin (5/8” , with little flavor. Same was true for the asparagus. Mashed potatoes were good. Service was okay too. Expect a long wait. For the price tag and reviews, I left disappointed. Service: Dine in

Excellent dinner last night. The service from the host to the server is tops. My tomahawk pork chop was so perfectly cooked. The other entrees were equally delicious.
