California Poke House - Glendale

I really enjoy the build your own bowl option at this restaurant. The ingredients always seem to be fresh, and I've never encountered wilted greens. They are very good at accommodating allergies by preparing each bowl in a clean environment, making it easy to wash hands, change gloves, and create an allergen-free bowl. I've found that getting your bowl made in the store is preferable to having it delivered.

This is my favorite Poke spot. Everything is always fresh, and they even offer soy noodles as a topping option. The service is good, and the prices are reasonable. However, I have to deduct one star because although they advertise unlimited toppings, they only give one scoop of each. If you want extra of the same topping, it will cost you more. Personally, I don't mind, but I know some people may find this disappointing. Also, the portion sizes for the protein scoops are a bit small. It wouldn't hurt to be a bit more generous with the portions.

I really appreciate the wide variety of options they offer. My go-to choice is the octopus, and everything is consistently fresh. I absolutely love it!

The worker preparing my meal at this restaurant put on gloves, then wiped his nose with them before touching the seaweed salad. The fish did not appear or smell fresh. The ordering station was very dirty and obviously hadn't been cleaned. Overall, I would rate the food 1 out of 5.

I can't get enough of these Poke Bowls. They are absolutely delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic as well. I'm really happy that I tried something new and ordered a poke bowl. I find myself going back there often now. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
