Mountain Blue Cafe - GLENBROOK

This cafe is friendly with a very good variety of options on the menu. Fast service and delicious. There is a bonus to this cafe. It has a gift shop and also the blue mountains panorama. Which is worth a look into. Highly recommend for tourists.

Been 3 times this year hoping it's improved and it hasn't. Staff seem to have good days and not so good days; service is at times so slow I feel like offering them a hand. Ended up getting a coffee as a takeaway. It's a great location with level convenient parking. Menu extensive so something for everyone. But each dish seems rushed - the omelette not cooked through, the soup a congealed white blob served in a white dish, the calamari that was hidden under green leaves masquerading as a salad. Please Mountain Blue Cafe manager don't just rely on the tourists, give the locals a place they want to come back to. Could be so much more.

Been here before & it has been good, but today service was notable by its absence. Sat outside and waited. No one came out in the 20 or so minutes we were there. Tables were uncleared. This wasn't a busy lunch hour, we were there around 2.30. Partner had to go & request service. We thought we'd start with hot drinks, but no menus offered and the drinks were very slow too: a good 15 minutes for a cappuccino and a latte. After this sort of wait, I couldn't be bothered ordering anything else. When my partner went in to pay, he said he just stood waiting at the register while staff stood around talking. It has certainly gone downhill since our last visit & we won't be going back:-(

Stopped here on my way through as a break from driving, was easy to access, from my side of the road. It was a nice warm welcome, lovely little spot for a cafe, I ordered a coffee takeaway, the food coming out to other customers looked okay but nothing mind blowing, the coffee took about 15 mins to come which was a little slow considering there was only 3 other coffees up and I had only ordered one coffee, which tasted okay, but again nothing special to me. The waitresses were friendly but a little too slow. Over all an okay place to stop

The service is certainly friendly but painfully slow, we ended up getting up and going to the counter to get a second round of drinks because we couldn't get anyone's attention . The food took forever to arrive and was average at best. None of us finished our meals because they weren't that great. Two of us had something from the cake cabinet for dessert but couldn't eat it as it was rock hard and there was more cream than cake. All in our group have big appetites and aren't particularly fussy so it's rare to not finish our meals.
