Storiebook Cafe - Glen Rose

Such a fun little place to have lunch. The sandwiches are decent, but we all rave about the buttermilk pie. The children love playing while we wait. There's a lot to see inside this cute little cafe.

Plenty to see and do here, especially if you love books and games. Each table has a few games to play to pass the time, and all the used books along every wall are for sale. Reasonably priced homemade sandwiches were tasty. It's a surprisingly large place,with lots of kid-friendly activities.

Storiebook Cafe did my wedding last weekend and an incredible job! They gave food for my sample dinner, lunch for the day of preparation, food for reception and a large meat and cheese tray for our after party. My expectations, hopes and dreams were surpassed in every row! I felt that I was asking for a lot to come because I am someone who lives to eat instead of vice versa, and wanted some specialties, but every dish came more beautifully prepared and better tasting than I could have hoped. Thanks Storie for my dream wedding possible! I didn't even dream!

The food was great. When you walk in the smell of bacon is wonderful . Try their lemon aid it’s perfect not to sweet not to tart. Wish I was closer cause I need a glass of lemonaid.

A great fun place I was there with my kids and 4 grandchildren, visiting from Richardson, and we all had lots of fun for lunch the play area for the kids was fantastic food was good and big selection the signs on the walls are great and funny the library is a neat idea in the restaurant
