I opted for the Impossible Meat burger, which was hands down the best vegetarian burger I've ever tried. The staff at the saloon were fantastic; they even allowed our furry family member to join us at our table. The outdoor garden terrace in the back was a perfect place to enjoy our meal, soak up the sun, and unwind. I am already looking forward to returning!
From for a nice ride on a sunny warm day, kept in the tavern happy to know that mickey is again full time, it is the best! Unfortunately the stream is not very high, as no rain, but nevertheless nice to sit outside on the piano, eating is as usual good, one has to stop if they are somewhere w/i 50 miles
I Love this place. Especially the drinks and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich
The burgers are delicious and the fish and chips are pretty good. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, with the added bonus of a billiards room. It captures the essence of what you would expect from a pub or tavern, especially in a quaint village setting.
We stopped in for a late lunch around 2pm. When we arrived, only 3 tables were being served. The bartender's acknowledgment and speed were terrible. We sat at the bar and weren't greeted for at least 5 minutes as the bartender was busy working on the iPad cash register. The service remained slow, and what was extremely disappointing was when she asked if we were done with our food and if we wanted our plates picked up. We said yes, and she walked back into the kitchen to get the buslady to pick up our plates, even though it was only us and another table of 2 at that time. It seemed like the bartender was the owner or manager and was too good to work. She needs to get over herself. The building had a lot of history and the food was really good, but the service was poor. We will not be returning.
