Imagery Estate Winery - GLEN ELLEN

We bought the picnic package through travelzoo which includes two glasses of wine and a meat and cheese board. It was better than we hoped. Our host was Miles. He was so friendly. We really aren't wine drinks so he explained and made the wines we tasted very accessible. The facility is nice. The outdoor areas is very relaxing and beautiful. After tasting about 8 wines, we picked our favorites and headed outdoors to the lawn. We did the 11am time slot which meant it was a bit cold (they provided blankets) but also we had the place to ourselves. It was relaxing and a great setting for conversation. Highly recommend a visit even for those that don't love wine. We would definitely return.

Our first visit since 2016, and pretty disappointing. Prior visits had always been pleasant, with friendly staff, a great setting, pleasant wines. On a Sunday in May, we expected they might be busy, however it seemed pretty quiet and definitely well-staffed. Nonetheless, staff were slow to greet us, serve us, and did nothing to create an experience at Sonoma 's Best Winery (per the sign at the entrance). Beyond being slow, staff were perfunctory in their service, bordering on rude in some cases, and generally seemed overwhelmed and lukewarm about their work. It 's hard to know if this is a post-pandemic issue, or more indicative of a team that is just going through the motions. Regardless, the whole experience was mediocre. We won 't be returning any time soon.

Got a wine tasting and Sandi was the sweetest person ever. i'm new to wine and admittedly don't know the difference between wines other than they are white or red. Sandi took the time to explain it to us and tell us all about it and which wines pair up nicely with food. We loved it so much we actually decided to become wine members and have been so excited to come back!

Great wines but I especially LOVE THEIR Sparkling Wine! Such a gorgeous light pink color and SO YUMMY! We are very happy wine club members! Great place to picnic after tasting and buying a bottle of their wine. Bocce anyone?! Always a great time at Imagery! Highly Recommend!

What an amazing experience my husband and I had today at Imagery winery. We were greeted by Miles, our guide. His attentiveness, knowledge, passion was very much appreciated. Miles was very patient and calm in answering all my questions. He was kind not to follow today tasting strictly but rather offered his own touch on teaching about wineries’ wines making sure my experience was unforgettable and unique.My favorite was Merlot and white Burgundy!Thank you
