Nagoya Japanese Restaurant - Glen Eira

Our local Japanese only waking distance away. Too late (8pm) for us to dine-in with bub, so takeaway it was. We ordered a few rolls, mixed sashimi, gyoza, miso eggplant and teriyaki chicken. Sashimi was fresh ad tasty though some pieces weren't separated leading me to believe the knife was slightly blunt. Did I really care? No.<br/ Eggplant, gyoza and chicken were great dishes. Presented really well too. The sushi rolls were ok. Too much rice and not enough filling. <br/ <br/ Would i order the rolls again? Probably not. Would I go back, most definitely.

The sashimi is always fresh and tasty!! The staff are always ultra friendly. My favourite on the menu is their bean shoot salad, super light and fresh!

I love the beef Tataki and Nasu so much. All the source and food they make by themselves. I saw a lady is making Gyoza when I am waiting for take-away. Also, the sashimi is pretty fresh

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant, which is reasonably priced. I met up with a friend for a long overdue catch-up and enjoyed a beer, warm sake, edamame, agadeshu, and a sushi deluxe platter that was presented in a large sailing ship. We finished off the meal with fruit and ice cream, and the total bill came to 125. The service was excellent, with attentive staff and fresh food. The edamame and agadeshu were particularly good, but we were a bit disappointed with the selection and portion size of the sushi platter. We paid extra for salmon and tuna, but felt that the portions could have been more generous. Despite this, I would still give this restaurant another chance, though I may be more selective with sushi and sashimi choices next time. Overall, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. We even celebrated with a 300ml bottle of hot saki that was served in a unique figurine that pours from the mouth. We will definitely be coming back again in the future.
