I go every week, great big plate full of hot mussels , side plate for empties, napkin etc Staff friendly and engaging , love the seating and if you close your eyes you would think you were on a trawler Been going since I was a kid and I'm now nearly 58 ! Don't move, don't change ...

This place is a institution ...my wife worked there for a few year 's in the seventy 's. .in all that time it still gives quality and value for your money ...it 's a must if you like your sea food...and of course big Allan 's banter that 's not changed must over the years either lol...

Made a special journey over to it today...well worth the effort. Good choice if shellfish, nicely presented. I had a seafood cocktail, £2.50..was delicious.... and ended up doing a takeaway as well. Will definitely be back.

Brilliant place love it.. av been taking my kids there for over 20 years and my dad took me here when a was a wee bhoy as well
