Central Sushi - Glasgow

We really loved it! The nigiri was fantastic and the prices were fair.

Best sushi in glasgow around a mile, although the selection is not extensive. no license, but they are happy for them too byob, and there is a super market next door. decor is the basic urban chic would decorate it, but who cares if it tastes so good.

Big little jewel of a place. no frills seating and decor, but don't let them put out ... they can take with their own bottle and have a great collection with friends. eating is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

I find it hard to write a review as we never actually got to experience dining at this restaurant. We had made a reservation and turned up at the prebooked time only to find the restaurant closed with a handwritten note on the door saying 'closed for maintenance '. The place was locked up and there were no lights on. As we had booked online, they had our contact info, they could have had the courtesy to contact us to let us know there would be a problem with our booking instead of wasting our time Therefore i would not recommend this restaurant as, if this is how bookings are handled, i can only imagine what the service would be like. Ideally i would leave no stars, but was required to enter a rating.
