One of our family traditions is having Osechi (Japanese New Year food) in the morning. Over the past few years we’ve ordered from Izumiya in Richmond. The quality is always good and it looks impressive This is the 3-tray set that came out this year, filled with a variety of traditional Japanese dishes. We ordered ours at the beginning of December to make sure we could get one because they are limited.

Fully stocked Japanese fairly sized store that sells almost everything, from imported Japanese fresh produce and staples that you can’t usually find in other stores, to sashimi grade meats, to freshly made dishes and meals for fair prices. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese cuisine.

This is a great place for grocery shopping for Japanese food supplies and staples. It also is convenient for picking up ready made meals (sushi, maki, bentos, etc) Overall it's a great place for quickly getting in and out when needing to quickly pick up grocery supplies including produce.

Great place to pick up bento and some specialty japanese snacks and sauces. Bento are usually plentiful before 10:30, and slowly all get bought out. Closer to the end of the day, they go on discount, but the selection is quite low. Its also a good place to get sashimi blocks or frozen ramen.
