I wouldn't recommend buying fish and chips from Kwangchow Chinese Takeaways there are better fish and chip shops in Gisborne.

We ordered sweet and sour pork, but the meat was overcooked and had an unusual texture. The chicken fried rice was acceptable, but the combination of vegetables was quite strange. The chicken chow mein was decent, but there was a peculiar smell that I couldn't quite place. Unfortunately, I woke up this morning to find that everyone in the house, including my three children (ages 11, 4, and 1), had food poisoning. It's been 24 hours, and we’re still dealing with the aftermath. I will not be going back there again.
