Savoy - Girona

No wonder this restaurant is always full at lunch time as they offer a top quality meal. It is only 12 Euros 50 for a 3-course copious meal with bread and a glass of good wine rose, red or white) or 9 Euros with bread and wine also if you have one course with dessert instead of two. You have a good choice of dishes and the menu is different every day as it is chosen according to the fresh food items they select and find in the morning. It is such a good place that it is advisable to book for a table and we now eat there on a regular basis when we are in the area or in the South of France close to the Spanish border. The waitstaff is also extremely friendly and efficient. Definitely a place not to miss out on that I highly recommend!!

We stayed at the hotel connecting the restaurant so on the day on arrival we decided to hang out for a while, having some coffee, beer and tapas. The staff was friendly, atmosphere was chilled and it was perfect for hanging out. No menus in English so waiter explained dishes but forgot to mention that the olives had fish in them ! and being a Vegetarian that was not a nice experience after biting into them.. But after telling him, he apologised and took it off the bill so that was fine.

Un buen lugar, acogedor y bonito. Lástima que el servicio (una sola persona para servir en todo el local) está superado en las horas punta. Tardaron en atendernos además de no respetar el orden de llegada de los clientes, además de algún despiste más a la hora de servir.

Comimos canelón, ensalada con mango, albóndigas y salmón, estaba todo muy bueno. Los camarer@s muy agradables, pero tuvimos que esperar mucho para que nos tomarán nota del postre.

Menú de dissabte correcte. Es tracta d’un lloc històric de Girona, molt ben conservat i amb una bona part de nostàlgia ben entesa. Servei jove amb ganes però amb un excés de desorganització, hem hagut de de demanar varíes vegades una mateixa cosa sense éxit. El menjar lo millor, bona quantitat, cuina i resultat. Un lloc per tornar i quedar bé amb un compromís.
