Hostaria San Domenico - GIOVINAZZO

We had a wonderful lunch at the hostaria san domenico. Lovely staff, excellent food and a delicious wines: red and white housewine!

I recently visited Hosteria San Domenico with a friend. We were in Giovinazzo visiting family and are very familiar with the cuisine of the Barese people having grown up in the USA as Italian Americans and descendants of this region. We ate grilled octopus and patate, riso e cozze. The meal was delicious... and very authentic... just like my mother would make! The waiter and owner were very friendly and hospitable. I would recommend this restaurant highly during your visit to the Puglia region!

Cannot recommend this place enough, every aspect of our meal was delicious. Good wine, amazing starter, we were given free fried dough balls, our mains were delicious. It all came to €42 and we would absolutely have paid more for it. Great service too.

Characteristic location, good service, food of discreet quality. against slightly high prices (full cups and wines in particular), fried to improve (or better oiled or very oiled,) in our room a little too much smell of the kitchen. He didn't leave us a mark.

Local in the historic center of jovina, a beautiful seaside resort north of bari. a few steps from the cathedral. superior service. very sea goose dishes. very kind and professional staff. Congratulations. leo da taranto
