フィードバックを提供するAs the title already says, a family-run hotel (5 rooms) with adjoining restaurant. the modern rooms with wlan and the international cuisine of the restaurant know to inspire! during my many service trips to gifhorn I have tried many hotels before location and for me fuchsbau is the best address in gifhorn for overnight and for eating. After a busy day of work, you can let the sunbathe at a cool beer and served by very friendly service staff to invite the evening.My experiences with fuchsbau justify the 5 points awarded here. during the last 10 months (Mai-Feb) I finally discovered the fuchsbau during my visits (after various stays in other hotels in and around gifhorn) and after the first stay it became my second home.
The restaurant fuchsbau is a very nice restaurant a little off the main street of the town, making it very quiet there. the ambiente is very nice and the staff very friendly.The meals are very delicious and extensive. you don't need to be afraid to leave the restaurant hungry.
Small but fine card. nice service and very tasty eating. beautiful outdoor area for sunny weather.
A small insider tipp is the restaurant for fuchsbau on all cases. the food is beautifully dressed and the eye is of course with. the service staff is very well trained and has always had an answer on many questions.
For the silvesterbufett we were with 4 people to the finish of 2013 in fuchsbau. we got a table right next to the entrance door, which was not too good, because by the constantly entering guests this was very disturbing, the service was very courteous and nice. we were brought aperol in white wine, the drinks were taken up and very quickly brought to the table. the "Caribbean Presuppet" was served on the table. she consisted of kartoffels spices and paprika cubes, tasty, but Caribbean? then there were cold and warm foods in bufett form. that was very disappointing, as hot diners there were croquettes, gnocchis, fried zuchini stripes with fresh mushrooms, fish with olives and tomate in alu film (which should be in many fried after info of the cook), but tasted like cooking fish and pork rolls filled with spinat in sauce. these two main dishes are very specific and absolutely not everyone's taste. also the cold bu fat was very poor. cartoffel salad with scampis (total cermet), red heringsalat, cheese plate, field salad lollo rosso salat with aceto balsamico, coy with goat cheese, banane wrapped with bacon, sink with melone, salmon with savory with white bread, butter was not present. You could get tired. tastefully it was also o.k., but as a silvester buffet not so good. as dessert were served at the theke eiskugelberge, kaffeetiramisu and orange cream with totally crumbled stollen and obstsalat. went to eat. Finally, I can only say that for us go to silvester there: once and never again. we have paid to four just 200,00 € and that was not worth the evening! I think at ala carte you can choose to eat yourself, probably better!
