Leo's Tapas - Gibsons

Very disappointing. Had some very fond memories at this restaurant. The last 2 times we have visited we have had a very poor experience. Long long waits for meals. Just not the same friendly atmosphere. Smaller portions of food, not enough staff. Waited over 1 hour for our meals no apology by owner just indifference. We have supported this restaurant as local residents but it seems that things have changed radically. Food quality not as good, portions smaller and long waits for food. Items missed from the orders. Will not return.

Service was prompt but my spanakopita was disappointing. My date asked for his steak medium rare but it came quite rare. He still enjoyed his steak and our sides were okay.

We really enjoy going to Leo's on a regular basis. We like the friendly staff and the food. We do have ever consistently get such a small Greek salad with all of our entrées. It is very rare to have an unusually small Greek salad at a Greek restaurant. Also the potatoes they serve with their entrées are usually 2 halves of a boiled potato, this could be easily a bit more tasty by roasting the halves for a couple of minutes before serving the potatoes, or fry or whatever they want to do but their potatoes are very boring and show little effort to make them delicious.With that said I'm sure we will go back and would love to see those changes there.Cedric

We are a couple and went there for dinner during a not busy a day. It is a family restaurant. We got great service and the Greek food was delicious.

Went for Fathers Day there was 4 people. Service was poor. Took a long time to get beverages. And they completely forgot one drink. Waitress had very little patience and was annoyed when reminded about items she forgot we ordered. None of the dishes came out together. There was time lapses of 5 mins between each dish of 4 people. Not including the time of getting the main dishes and the wait of 5 mins or more to get the sides (breads).The restaurant was busy but not packed. It looked as though they had enough staff on...just poor execution from kitchen to tables.The food was ok. But the staff and the 15 min wait from the first dish served at the table was frustrating and made the experience poor. Chances are we will not return again.
