A Lovely Bar with Lovely Staff, Great just to sit Outside when getting to dusk it is Magical with a WONDERFUL View of the Catherdral of Saint Mary the Crowned

One day visit to Gibraltar;34 degrees=Hot and Sticky....Strolling along the Main Street and had GREAT FOOD AND NICE STAFF service at THE ROYAL CALPE!!!

Cute restaurant. We had Nacho’s. Friendly service. One drawback: already at 8 pm the host started to remove the menu-lists from the tables, as she wanted to tell: please go, as we close at 9 pm.

We had the Sunday carvery which was excellent. The service was friendly and although the place was very busy staff were attentive.

We had the full English and the scones. The breakfast had hash brown patties, not regular potatoes. Have had better but it was ok. The scones said they came with jam and cream. I was expecting clotted cream but got whipped cream. That was disappointing. Portions were good and service was good as long as you don't mind waving them down.
