Beautiful French bistro, with pleasant atmosphere and good service. had the set menu that contained the beautiful bark cheeks. menu a steal at €32 very good wine lists (1x white and 1x red) chose a 2013 domain dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru aux combottes

We were a little doubtful after reading the mixed reviews, but were happy that we came here. good service of the waiter poured wein for us, have seen this for one because not. we had 2 appetizers: escargots and eggs in Merette sauce (very good,) 2...Platten: coq au vin (average,) rinderwange (very good) and birne posing in pinot noir with black johannisbeeren sorbet (very good.) has been happy to the evening!

A nice reception and the modern design in this gourmet restaurant have raised our expectations and we were not disappointed. the service was attentive during dinner and the various dishes were quite creatiw, well prepared and very well presented. everything tasted very good. the bottle. from Gevrey-Chambertin 2011 we were recommended was fabulous (the next day we managed to locate the manufacturer and buy a case) a whole very nice dinner experience and quite affordable.

I wish i could be more positive about this restaurant experience but I can't. The food really was rather good. We chose the terroir menu. Both starters, œufs façon meurette and snails, were excellent. Main courses, the coq au vin was a tad on the...dry side, the beef cheek was cooked to perfection. Dessert of poached pear again was very good and so was the cheese selection. The problem was the service. Although the restaurant wasn't that busy the waiter was very rushed coming to ask us twice in 2 minutes if we had decided. When we asked for a bit more time as we were trying to pick a wine there was quite some eye rolling going on. eye rolling occurred when we had the odacity to ask (in french) to explain one of the dishes on the menu. All in all we didn't let the bad service spoil our family lunch but I certainly wouldn't rush back here.
