Firehouse Drive In - GETTYSBURG

A really nice couple own run this restaurant. Kristine Carl. Currently open for breakfasts lunch. Hopefully open for dinners again soon once they can get more staff.We stopped in for breakfast today and had a wonderful meal. Hubby had ham eggs that were a generous portion. I had the croissant with egg bacon. They let me sub the hash browns for sautéed veggies. Kristine said “we are a yes we can kind of place”The building was clean, well maintained and had plenty of parking. The food was filling, tasty and just to our liking. The staff pleasant and hard working. The prices very reasonable. Winning on all accounts.The other tables were full of the local old timers all getting together to chat over a good meal. If we lived in town, this would be our breakfast hangout too.

Had a wonderful and swiftly served lunch with an excellent bacon ranch and chicken wrap. I eyed one of these lovely rolls and had to take one for the road! Great place to stop in during a busy day!

Love it home town feel good food and serves a welcome place to eat

Food was average or a little better. Service was SLOW. The server did at least recognize that and call in back up when the place got busy. Once we finally ordered food came out quickly. I would go again, but not if I was in a hurry.

Great food and lunch specials had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Going back for lunch tomorrow.
