Hoss's Steak And Sea House - GETTYSBURG

Nothing bad. I had the soup and salad bar and nothing was old or devastated and the bar itself was clean. The only thing that happened to me was a great smell that you sometimes have in old buildings? It wasn't a terrible smell, but it was remarkable. The food was good. Better than many places with everything you can eat salad bars. They also had a nacho bar and a dessert bar next to salads and soups. I enjoyed the soups I tried very much. The nachos were also good, but not as good as anything else was and some of them seemed to have been replaced. I didn't try anything, but the steaks smell good! I would recommend it as a decent place to eat only no goal in his own right. More positive than not, so you're not afraid to give him a shot!

Enjoyed our dinner at Hoss?s. The salad bar was great as was the desert bar. Dinner entree was god as well. The server Stephanie made the experience 5 star. She was attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Will go back again the next time we are in the area.

Our family likes Hoss?s primarily because of the salad/dessert/food bar. The inside of the restaurant looks nice, there?s a large fireplace in the center of the room that we always sit by (it has a light to cause it to glow even in summer). We often order a burger and add the food bar; however the food bar is plenty just to get that! Staff is friendly and the one large TV that is on always has funny stunt/extreme sports videos?our kids find that entertaining. One thing-it maybe smells more like a cleaning product than food when you enter and that isn?t super appetizing, but, that probably means it?s very clean ??????

Hoss?s Steak and Sea House is comparable to an old, tired steakhouse chain from the 1980s. It was clean. The service staff were friendly enough, but seemed to be stretched thin although they weren?t too busy. I had the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes gravy. In addition to adding the salad bar, I opted for a side of steamed broccoli. Overall the food was decent, no real complaints.

Not the place to go for steaks. Over cooked and tough. Kitchen lacks the skills to cook anything besides dried out. Even the chicken sandwich was dried out. That being said the wait staff is great. Nice folks. Attentive. The salad bar is excellent and that alone is a great reason to stop here to eat!
