Farnsworth House Tavern - GETTYSBURG

This is a fantastic place to stay! The room was beautiful, although the street noise was a bit loud at times, but it was manageable after 10 PM. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was very attentive and helpful. It's conveniently located near a variety of activities and numerous restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was delicious as well. On Monday and Tuesday, we enjoyed scrambled eggs, fresh fried chips, sausage, and bacon. Monday's breakfast included pancakes, while Tuesday's featured Belgium waffles topped with strawberries and whipped cream. I had the pleasure of meeting both owners, who were exceptionally friendly, and the staff we encountered were equally pleasant. For those interested in the paranormal, I experienced an intriguing moment in the Sweeney Room when I felt my leg being pulled! I highly recommend staying here!

Jeremy's room is quaint and charming. Breakfast was great, large portions and filling. A great start to a day of walking the historic district and walking tours of the monuments.Nearby activities: Gift shops, ghost walking tours, civil war memorials and trails.Walkability: Walking to the different shops, stores, small food shops is quick and easy.

Great authentic dining experience. Excellent service and food. The ambiance is unmatched.

The food was both delicious and fresh! The location is fantastic! I’m excited for the house tour on Sunday!
