フィードバックを提供するHad our dinner the 1st time here, ordered 4 dishes, 2 was below my expectations being from Penang, 2 others were just average. Nice deco environment though for a nyonya experience.
Great decor in the restaurant and good food selection. Out of the items we ordered, their perut ikan and otak otak stands out, as well as the nasi ulam. The perut ikan contains a healthy amount of fish stomach, no skimping on the main ingredient. The otak otak has good texture and the fragrance of the herbs and spices came through nicely. Nasi ulam is fresh and tasty. The lone item that was meh was the assam shrimp. I wished it had a stronger tamarind flavor. Overall good experience with the food and environment.
An impromptu visit which almost ended up getting no table as it was full house but the service crew was nice to give a table, recommended to make reservations prior visit to avoid disappointment. A heritage restaurant with tint of peranakan decorative. The food was great to our liking especially the nonya curry stingray, it taste like Assam and appetizing.
Step into a heritage house and immerse yourself with decadent heavy Nyonya heritage designs fill with old furniture, antiques, vintage cookeries and traditional Nyonya clothes. This establishment is a good place to take pictures and very Instagram-able. The establishment serve variety Nyonya cuisine and many people praised for their authentic Nyonya cuisine. Even the owner of the establishment get involve in the cooking to ensure the quality of the food. The price however is very expansive but the quality of the food is worth to pay. Parking is limited during peak hour. Due to popularity, it is best to make reservation first in order to secure a table.
Great decor, authentic Nyonya decor. The purut ikan, otak2 and lemon grass fried chicken were delicious. Owner Richard is a joy to converse with! Would have given a 5 for the food if not for the sweetened asam curry ikan.
