フィードバックを提供するI was here a lot. Good memory, food still great, but you can probably better asam laksa elsewhere in these days without need to rest and sit near the road. Although, I will still come here to eat, besides how food taste is the memory and place.
This place is only open on weekends, but boy is it well worth the travel for. Perfect laksa broth with a really nice floral fragrance. We went around 2pm, so it wasn’t as crowded as we had expected. Highly recommended for Penang laksa
Finally back here to this famous Penang laksa hawker stall. Took a while to get here due to the very bad traffic jam. This may be due to the Saturday morning crowd. Took a while to find a parking spot. Anyway back to the laksa. Its somehow not as good as I remembered. The gravy doesn't seem to be as thick as before. The amount of fish meat in the gravy is less than what it used. Overall experience is just above average.
Disappointed with this famous laksa. Big big difference between now and then. The renew shop lost its touch of this signature dish. Let’s start with the broth, plain and without much fish. The vegetables that came with the broth wasn’t that appealing as well. Smell wasn’t there. I try my best to finish it just to show respect to the restaurant. Don’t think I’ll patron them again.
Parking around this area in general is a challenge (especially when the morning market is open, and combined with the temple going quantity). If you decide to drive here, I would recommend parking in the neighborhood some streets down and easy walk. If you don't feel like coming here to have the food, please note that this store is available on the AirAsia Food Delivery app so that always an option. Ambiance: Although not the most convenient with the cars away next to you, I think you are quite always the best you can for a road stand. There are many tables, so you can definitely find a place in no time. Service: The staff is very friendly and has found us a table, just when we arrived. Extra spices were also released, if desired, so that was nice. The beverage booth next door is also very attentive and will come quickly to take over your orders when they see you. Food: There is a reason why this stable is so popular, and I think the hype is definitely justified. The depth of taste in the soup is simply not something you can find in most stores and you get a lot of ingredients in it too. Price: Pretty cheap prices as it was RM5.50 for a bowl. You will definitely get your money in this value. Conclusion: The food here is definitely top notch and I recommend it to anyone who wants to test how Asam Laksa should be.
