Chok Dee Thai - George Town

At the first meal here with the family the whole experience was very pleasant. Personally I love her dessert, (the fruits with coconut milk) not sure what it is called in thai. The rest of them are okay. Recommended to have an attempt here, although the price abit on the high side. Would visit again to taste other dishes.

Portion is quite big. My favourite dish is their tom yum soup. Otak2 is a bit oily for me.

Great atmosphere for a Thai restaurant in Penang, however the food portion is small. We have 8 persons but come with only 7 prawns, other dishes portion also below avg. Food taste is okay, not too impressive, just acceptable. Price is above avg, basically you pay for the environment and the service.

Mid price delicious Thai food that you will come back for more.. Good ingredients, chef with hearts.. Clean and comfy environment for dining, imaging you can keep cool without sweat while eating spicy Thai food, what more can I ask.. . Price is at 100 plus for 2 to 3 pax.. Do call to make reservations though usually pack at night. Forget to mention.. All the Staff is very helpful and polite too..

Personally i like the salted egg squids and fried strip pork! But the Tom yam goong and kang kung are pretty meh. Nothing much to shout out for. Can give them a 3.5 stars (moons)
