Few years ago this bakery was known; amongst the Italian community in Geneve; to be one of the best for sicilian cakes. It was long time for us since our last visit at this place when last saturday we went to buy some pastries and as we entered we were badly surprised to see a place run down, dirty dust all around, pastries didn 't have an attractive looking, etc. staff was dressing up nicely as you would expect in a bakery.we asked what 's happen and we found out by a proud new owner that he has taken over this place a year ago and although himself is from Sicily he does not have anyone able to prepare the sicilian pastries. we wanted a 'Cassata Siciliana ' but he stated that his Portuguese confectioner was not capable to do it, he stated that previously they looked at the receipt on internet but result was not good (ok this was honest), anyhow we reluctantly ended up buying some Rum Baba and some Cannoli as we were somehow convinced that they will be at same standard of the previous owner of this place, well this was not the case when we consumed them in the evening. Rum Baba was the worst, may be they took a wrong receipt on the internet too, the cannoli 's cream was bland and nothing close to the classic Sicilian test, we were extremely disappointed and we will never ever go back to this place!

When they are looking for wonderful Italian style pastries, this is the place to visit. the caffe itself is a simple place with seating outdoors, but close to a road, so they don't even expect. the quality of their baked was, however, absolutely decisive.
