Kindred Fare - Geneva

Great food and service. Lots of menu options. The bar area is too noisy and I’d suggest they get creative with cork or other absorbent wall, ceilings or floor materials. That way, conversation can happen without sign language. :

We had some amazing Nashville hot' chicken, and it was gluten-free. Absolutely amazing. The surf and turf was outstanding as well.

We make the trip to Geneva from Rochester, once or twice a year for Kindred Fare. The food is excellent as well as the service. Some of my favorite dishes are the poutine and the steak that I believe is basted in some sort of mapley butter. The staff when my parents asked for custom vegetarian meals in the past. The wine and liquor list is extensive. My only suggestion would be to open another location in Rochester. You’re team could easily compete with Nosh and Roux, which for those not familiar are two other similarly priced restaurants in Rochester about minutes away.

Boy, for a Monday night in the winter you can't do any better than this! Wonderful food and drink offerings the best the region has to offer. Excellent service too. Had the prix fixe special and it was a very good deal octopus, salmon and the peanut butter canoli all wonderful. And the regional wine beer spirits offerings really make it special. Our only suggestion would be some sound-absorbing carpets on the flooring or even on the walls would cut down on the too-energetic din.
