All freshly prepared and delicious. Unfortunately at the moment only food to take. The few tables are always quickly booked in Nocht-Corona times. That speaks for itself.

I'm only rarely in the area, last about two years ago, but this tiny restaurant with its four to five tables inside and several outside has kept some of the real Italian flair, which is why I was delighted to be able to return to a snack there, after a long drive through the Ruhr area. Very, very simple, but good, with fresh flowers (this time even small orchids on each table) and with good and friendly, but unobtrusive service. The owner couple is very friendly and the food was absolutely fine. By the way, the wines of the house (e.g. dry red a surprisingly good (Sicilian) Nero d'Avola from the Cantina la Vite near Riesi (about 20 km south of Caltanissetta). Although many customers were appointed by telephone during my visit, the guests present in the house were not forgotten. On a next visit to Gelsenkirchen, this little gem is back on the program.

If you want to eat pizza at the Mario in the evening, there is no place! The few places are quickly forgiven, waiting is not a success, the guests feel too comfortable. Everything offered from the map tastes great!

...to come back. Hab ́ Rossini now gave 2 chances and am totally disappointed. The restaurant is very hidden in a housing estate and is more like a snack (besides the 3 tables a 2 chairs). It looks Italian, but it doesn't look like it. The ingredients do not act fresh, but somehow inlaid. With garlic? Without garlic? No matter what?! But the taste can be denied, therefore a total of 3 of me. Tip: No delivery service and lunch break note!

The owner is very friendly and communicative. The tried pizzas were so far very good. The ingredients were partly freshly cut, which is why it can take some time. Therefore, many phone preorders.
