This time I was hungry for Greek food and therefore sought the Taverna Tassos. On one of the few private parking lots I could park my vehicle. When I entered the place, I was greeted nicely by an operation standing behind the counter, to my question of a place for me alone, she said that I could choose a place in the whole place. After I had made a place in a corner at a table, she quickly came there, first illuminated the tealight on the table and then gave me the menu. I had to wait a few minutes for my ordered drink as she first served a food picker at the counter. At first she delivered all the place with four occupied tables, was always friendly, changed a few words with regular guests and was quite fleeting. A little later, the boss also arrived, who from case to case also intervened in the service. The menu offers the usual menu of a Greek restaurant in Germany, with Gyros, Souflaki and the numerous mixed dishes. I also became a repeater and ordered myself: “Athena cellar, Gyros, Souflaki and Bifteki” (10,80 €), immediately came the counter question of the service that I wished to supplement. The usual supplements were rice or pommes, but also baked potatoes were possible. I then decided quite conventionally for French Pommes and ordered a large Cola light (0.4l for 3.60 €. The salad usually consisted of finely sprinkled white wort, which was apparently pink with red beet juice, with two slices of cucumber, an eighth tomato, leaf salad, olives and peperoni. I couldn't find a dressing. The salad was consumed, the plate was deleted, shortly after that the boss brought me the plate with the main course. The arrangement as usual, on a "bed" by Gyros lay the Souflaki shoot and the hack Steak, along with a pile of frits and a stick Zaziki on a salad leaf. The meat on the spit was excellently marinated, so tender and juicy I rarely ate it. The Chiop Steak was nicely loose, well seasoned with a clear garlic clove, the Gyros also very well seasoned and with beautiful grill crust. The frits were fresh, hot and crispy, the Zaziki beautifully seasoned with herbs, here the garlic was more reserved. Overall very delicious food, the part didn't seem too big, but I couldn't eat it completely. Environment On a wooden floor stands furniture made of dark wood, the chairs with seat cushion in green tones. The tables had no tablecloths, there were different-colored plastic placemats on which were cutlery and paper napkins. In addition, salt and pepper shakers, beer lid and tea light were found on each table. The walls are lined with creamy wooden panels, the ceiling is suspended with a white screen, hanging on lamps with white plastic screens. In the middle of the guest room there is a “Olivenbaum” in the vault in bright orange standing two column replicators, otherwise the Greek dedications keep within limits. Cleanliness I did not notice any dirt in the guest room, glasses, dishes and cutlery were perfectly clean. The furnishings and the technology of the toilet are somewhat “old fashion”, but there was nothing to complain about cleanliness.
Had such a wonderful time visiting again this restaurant. Tasso is excellent in crafting such Greek dishes available to the German people. The food quality is very good for the price. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Freundliche Bedienung. An zu befehlen.
