We ate in the bar and it was a great pub grub and a great service that is highly recommended for good food and one to Earth's atmosphere. Children ordered the parmie of the month, the Mexican, and it was great, very generous serves.
Very disappointing, we regularly went regularly for their salt and pepper inkfish, but it's like you when they have completed their renovations, they have just said that we have enough, we have enough to save us the chef and a Saving new low budget and save a new low budget! Then it went south, we took our daughters for tea, they love their full forces, they have small parmia, and I had a greasy, tough steak, the cooked medium was overpriced, the meals were overpriced and the staff were really rude, unnecessary to say, we did not end our meals, we stayed on the way home on the way home
I don't usually eat at an old school workers boozer like The Yardz (with a Z). I wouldn't usually order a Chicken Parmigiana, like I've only ever eaten one or two in my life. But when in Rome..... throw some poorly prepared under cooked Napoli on your factory crumbed chicken with a slice of watery overly processed ham and smother it in partially melted characterless cheese.... and you have a Parmi. Have I missed anything? Oh yes, the soggy under seasoned chips and mixed lettuce with machine julienne root vegetables. I'm sure there are better examples of the Parmi around but The Yardz (with a Z) are not even attempting to engage the taste buds.
Not good. Try this place again for dinner and wanted to support. You have a "specials" attorney in which I told the steak and the pot of beer for $ 17. Can not do anything wrong, right? Not correct. The Porerhaus was so uncircumcised that it was a quarter of wrinkled fat. Grief The mash tasted like this half-powdered "Deb" brand, which has recorded half of the plate. Even if you arrive early at night, the vegetables were cooked three quarters cooked carrots. Did you run from the other vegies? The very low porter house was laid on the deb (why?) With a small lining of the mushroom sauce. Very, very common. Although it was "Specials Night", the place was only half full, if that - but it took about three quarters of an hour to get my meal. Next time I will save my money. Grief A "Specials Night" should not mean "something I would not serve my dog". Grief Grief Grief ----- 16 Feb, 2015 ----- Grief Evil evil. Terrible young employees. We had spent some money in this pub, then the last drinks were called. Because of me. None of us was drunk. We all had a meal and paid a bit in the evening. They already closed the "smoking area" out of his back, so we had to cancel on the street. We asked if it was fine to have a cigarette and then return to finish our drinks. They said sharply "They have ten minutes". When we came back after five minutes, they had all our drinks published. I asked for a refund. The rude young female bar person poured half a beer as he said that's all she had gone. I did not bother I will not be offended by a secure young thing, half of my age. We have just assumed not to return. Very, very bad service. I asked who the owner was before I went, and she said she did not know it. That's fine, Sweetie Pie, I can work alone. We went after we were admonished by a 20-year-old by a 20-year-old with attitude that clearly does not understand about customer service. Grief We are all locals who have gone to this pub for several years. No more, with the service that was previously great. Whoever are these "new" employees, you have to pick up your game. Geelong West is not New York. Word comes around.
