Silver Marlin Fish Carlton, Nottingham

All of the food arrived cold, the chicken balls were undercooked and tough, the chips were stale, and the curry and crispy pork were unpleasant. This restaurant was recommended to us, but I found it to be very disappointing. I would not order from here again.

I decided to try this restaurant based on a recommendation, but I was very disappointed with the food. The chips were old and dry, the crispy bark was rubbery, and the rice was also not good. I had heard good things about this place, but I will not be trying it again. I had to wait 40 minutes for delivery, and to say that I was disappointed would be an understatement.

I would be willing to travel a long way for a chippy this good. in my opinion as good as they come

First visit of the new year, my last fish and chips was at the seaside. The quantity and portion size is up there with the very best. This is fish and chips done right by people with a passion for their food and customer service....Lovely staff. Why go anywhere else if you are in the area, in fact there are 4 others I have to pass to get there!

The best fish and chips in the area, always cooked fresh when you arrive, perfect golden batter and very generous fillets of fish, I drive past 3 others to buy my fish and chips, and well worth the extra few miles. A delightful cheery couple...who have run this excellent shop for a long time.
