Harvest of India - Gawler

Best Indian restaurant in Gawler. Ask them to make the food more authentic instead of the Aussie version, and they are happy to comply.

Unfortunately we went here on a recommendation of a friend. I think the mistake we made was to have takeaway. The meals were over priced and lacked the authentic flavours of the many other Indian restaurants we frequent. it was as though they cooked the meat and then poured a jar of Patak sauce over it. Very disappointed and would not go back. My only hope is that they had an off night.

I love Indian food and the food here is pretty good. It's a good location and there is nearby parking. Service was good but we were the only diners so maybe that helped. My only real complaint was the bright lights! It was like being in a bright office, not a restaurant. Be nice to see some decoration and lower mood lighting. Might get more in house diners too.

The food is always good and for that, it is hard to fault, but the serving size means it is very expensive for a family.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here, great food and very friendly staff, very enjoyable mango lassi.It is a spacious lovely old house, would come back here.
