England Foods - Gatlinburg

This was the first restaurant we visited during our summer vacation. My wife and I ordered the rib-eye steak, which was delicious. Our son had the ribs; while he enjoyed them, he noted that he has had better. Overall, we found it to be a very good meal. Our server, Andre, was also excellent.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The staff was not only quick but also very friendly. I visited more than once, and to my surprise, there was a bear sitting in the back outside the restaurant!

We always make it a point to stop by Howard’s for a delicious steak meal after our walk in the park. While cleanliness and service may not always be perfect, it remains a favorite because of the excellent food and relaxed atmosphere. It’s not the cheapest option, but you definitely get your money's worth.

We had dinner last night 8 13 nights. we had a nice table outside to see the water. our waitress was so nice that I had her name, but I know she's out of Romania. She stopped a couple times to make sure it's okay. So now we are 2 for 2 nice table, beautiful waitress. we were a party with 4 birthdays. 3 ordered the ribeye and 1 the filet. all were perfectly cooked as we had ordered it. it was so nice to be in the position to be dinner right in front of the parkway, but still they felt a million miles away. it is great that a local restaurant still blossoms in the middle of all chain restaurants on and off the road. so we were 3 for 3. beautiful table, wonderful waitress and excellent eating.

The back patio is right on the creek. Love this spot. We had pull pork sandwich fries that was good. Sweet sweet tea too: . Happy to patronize a place that’s been there since 1946. Our server Andre was 5 stars! We will be back!
