Chili's Grill - Garland

Fantastic. These folks were having a rough time but the staff has really turned it around. And thankful for that because of how few they are. American backbone is restaurants like this, that take hits and keep giving it their best. Because they try and they care. I can see it. And mega-Kudos to this place filled with regulars and doing their best with a shadow of the labor formerly, abundantly at their disposal. It 's tough and Americans don 't consider 'give up ' an option. I enjoy seeing that example. Even a chain restaurant in a fairly large town like Garland can show ppl what a patriotic example of capitalism can look like and always pull through, no matter what outside forces try and destroy it. Easy to take pride in and damn the naysayers.

The two times that I visited were in between peak hours. I was alone so I was seated in the bar area, and each time the service was a bit frustrating. The visits to my table were limited to taking my order and bringing a very delayed refill. The most recent time, my appetizer had been forgotten until I asked about it after my food was dropped off by another server. After everything, I paid and left without further contact. The food was great though!

Ordered 2 appetizers with sliders the meat was raw ask for more chips and salsa never got any ..after food was brought no one ever come back to the table and ask if we needed anything.. went up to the bar told bartender about the sliders he said it would be taken care of .we waited almost an hour they never brought them to us. Ask for the check ,was charged full price... Ask to speak to the manager about situation.. he acted nonchalant and his response was, I will talk to my staff never offered an apology never offered to take some off of our ticket .was very unprofessional me and my fiance go there quite often but I don't see us going back.

Not been here in years. Service was horrible wasn't even busy. Waited forever to get orders in. Food was awful. Fries cold. Chicken crisper hard to chew! Burgers were dry. This used to have a nice variety on the menu. More of a burger joint now. Bring the chicken fried steak back. One of the best meals now not available. We won't be back sadly. I used to love this place. I'll be going to Cotton Patch for a good meal. If I'm going to spend a hundred on a meal I'd like to enjoy the food. It was a waste of money yesterday.
