Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Gardendale

The closing hours are clearly posted as 10 PM on Google Maps and at the entrance of the restaurant, yet you will be denied service right at 9 PM or any time leading up to closing. The employees seem eager to make you feel like you're the one who doesn’t know how to read a clock, all while displaying an air of smugness that could fit into one of their flimsy paper bags. I expect a generic response from some automated system or corporate representative, but I hope this serves as a fair warning for anyone who doesn’t want to be treated colder than their ice cream.

Almost every time we visit after dark, the restaurant is closed. Despite the website indicating they’re open until 10 PM, the Gardendale location seems to close whenever they choose. To make matters worse, our experiences have not been great. The last time we were able to get food, they forgot half of our child's meal. We ended up with a banana and some milk, but no chicken nuggets or fries. This place has really taken a turn for the worse.

What kind of business doesn?t offer complimentary water for paying customers. $1.99 for a small cup of water with my order. Just horrible and petty. Ice creme also tasted different than other DQs

The lobby has been closed for months, they have 2 maybe 3 employees and super super slow at getting you thru the drive thru. About the food, my food was slightly çold and our ice cream was very watery. We will not go back for a while its sad

The blizzards had an unusual smell and taste. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to return. You also didn't send enough emails.
