フィードバックを提供するThis cozy little Japanese restaurant may be small, but it serves up generous portions! I particularly love their Teriyaki Beef, Sashimi, and Tempura. I've tried several dishes, including fish, skewers, and soups, and everything has been delicious. The service is fast, making for a great dining experience overall!
This restaurant is all about simple, comforting food in a cozy atmosphere. I've lost count of how many times I've visited, but my order is usually the same: the combo plate with tonkatsu and broiled mackerel, accompanied by a bowl of rice and miso soup—enough to fill me up for two meals. I really hope this hidden gem sticks around! The service can be a bit slow at times, and there are often lines, but it never bothers me. There's a parking lot in the back or you can find street parking nearby. @roaming.eater
The restaurant tends to get quite busy, so be prepared to wait a little. It's a cozy space, and the fried onions are incredible—their aroma and texture are simply outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend that you come back again!
My favorite dishes include the Tofu Salad, which has an amazing dressing and features large cubes of solid tofu—so delicious! Then there’s the Sashimi Dinner paired with grilled teriyaki beef, which you can customize to your preference. I tend to stick to tuna sashimi, and it’s always a vibrant deep red color that’s just mouthwatering to think about. All the sashimi here is incredibly fresh, and the portions are generous. They also serve the tastiest miso soup, far from those instant versions that just require hot water. Though my friends have tried various items from the menu, I tend to stick to my favorites, and I'm never disappointed. It’s a little bittersweet that they recognize my usual order now because my visits are less frequent. I didn't realize how lucky I was living less than five miles from this place while I was in Redondo Beach. I'm so grateful my roommate recommended it years ago—it's definitely one of my favorites! Finding this spot can be a bit tricky, as it is a typical hidden gem. There’s a large parking lot in the back, or you can park on the side street. The portion sizes are enormous, and just a heads up—they don’t serve sushi here, but you do get complimentary cabbage and edamame. No additional white rice either!
Food portion was large and very good for the price. Service was good as it was busy during lunch time.
