Donut King 2 - Gardena

The donuts were incredibly dry! We visited around 11 AM and I ordered three different donuts, two scoops of ice cream in different flavors, a shake, and a bottle of chocolate syrup. Everything was great except for the donuts, which is disappointing since this is a donut shop! I tried red velvet, chocolate glaze, and a chocolate on chocolate cake donut, and unfortunately, they were all dry and lacking in flavor. Even my kids wouldn't touch them—they thought they were that bad. I really hope the donuts are better during the day!

This restaurant is only open at night, making it a convenient option for late-night dining in the city.

The raised donuts were delightful, but unfortunately, the red velvet and chocolate varieties were dry and hard. While you can purchase lottery tickets and there's an ATM available, I particularly enjoy visiting when the friendly male owner is present. One thing to note is that the "baker's dozen" here means 12 donuts, not the traditional 13. The shop is open 24 hours, but be aware that it can get a bit spicy during the late-night hours.

The donuts are good and soft, but they are very fat. if they were not so greasy, I would have given this place 4 stars.

Delicious fresh donuts and a monsterously large donut sign....what more can you ask for out of this lifetime? Get 2....f it, I did.
