Tigh Mheaic - Galway

I enjoyed a refreshing beer and coffee at this pub after a wonderful day on July 16th for Feile MichDara. This annual pilgrimage celebrates Mass on MacDara's Island.

This restaurant offers a peaceful ambiance and has welcoming staff, although the menu selection is somewhat limited. There is a spacious parking area available. They serve delicious coffee and excellently prepared fried fish and fries.

We were greeted warmly at this pub restaurant and received excellent service. The food was delicious, with generous and flavorful portions. The decor was pleasant and the staff was fantastic.

We ate outside. There are wonderful 'islands ' to allow people to eat outdoors even if it 's raining, and so self-distance very effectively. The islands are basically wooden picnic tables/benches, with an open-sided wooden hut built around each one. Great solution. The meal was very nice. Tasty chowder with good brown bread. The day 's special was monkfish, either in batter or pan-fried, and both were delicious. As was the burger. Good chips. Friendly and efficient service. Go for it.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredible, the owners were friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, and the music was great. It was also great value for money. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for making my mother's night so special.
